The inspiring, energetic, future thinking and breath of fresh air ray of hope (aka Obama) used the same exact tour bus that we used for his campaign!
How cool?!?
We are honored.
Last night we had a great show in front of the coolest people Minneapolis has got!
They even had a piano there, in which I played our song Peppermint and Glue on.
Sharon killed it as usual and the crowd was wowed (hey that rhymes) as usual.
This morning I was awoken by 20, yep, 20 screaming girls with Matt White/Gap shirts outside our bus in Madison, Wisconsin. It was......weird.
oh...and.......CONGRATZ PHILLIES!!!!!
p.s./disclaimer: i understand that throwing out political endorsements is risky in general (and very un-me, i don't want to offend) but i simply have a tough time getting behind a fellow (mccain) that visibly can't control his anger and puts down a fellow american like obama. i don't want that kind of person representing me. remember: even though obama is running against him, he is a great american and to make him look like he is a friend of terrorists is ugly and short-sighted. we are lucky to have obmama whethere he wins or not.
also, i feel that if there was ever a time for a little ethnicity in the white house it's now. it's time to look and act wordly.
and lastly, stop thinking so much about yourself and your taxes and start thinking about the world in which we live. i'll gladly trade a few hundred dollars for a leader of such rich ethics, appeal, passion and smarts.
and if mccain wins, i will support him and hope for the best. i think both candidates have qualities that the other doesn't. i just feel this moment in time needs a man like obama. it's been a long bad 8 years...
