Sissy Spacek, San Diego and Slim Harpo

Planes are literally flying mere yards over the Casbah, the club we are getting ready to play, tonight in San Diego. So low that the law in this part of town says that noone is allowed on the rooftops for fear of rock throwing.

We are on night # 5 of a 20 show tour with Matt White as well as a few shows with Schuyler Fisk (daughter of Sissy Spacek and very talented singer/writer herself).

Today I listened to Slim Harpo, a great foot stompin' bluesman from many moons ago. Inspiring.

Feeling more physical than creative right now. Very homesick.
I used to think homesick was actually a sickness, now I'm certain of it.
